The Prism Faculty:
Our Team of Teaching Professionals
Prism Career Institute's faculty is comprised of talented professionals who have real world experience in their specialty fields. Some members of our faculty are award-winning professionals.
Our courses are typically taught by full-time faculty who get to know their students in a supportive environment. Tutoring is available through our vital program for those needing additional support.
Some Prism Career Institute faculty members have earned recognition from local and national educational organizations for excellence as teachers and for their commitment to their students. Most recently, Herb Warren, our computer applications instructor at the Upper Darby campus, was recognized as the "Teacher of the Year," by the Career College Association and "Instructor of the Year" by the Pennsylvania Association of Private School Administrators (PAPSA). In 2005, Patrice Melnick, Upper Darby campus, received similar recognition for excellence in teaching by ACCSC and PAPSA. A Prism Career Institute faculty member has received the award for the last three years in a row. A total of six faculty members have received this honor, one has received it twice.
Our faculty has also received national recognition as well. Two ACCSC (Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges) recipients of the National Achievement Award for Teacher of the Year and two recipients of the CCA (Career College Association) Instructor of the Year, with one recipient receiving the honor twice. We also have a faculty member who is a member of the "Hall of Fame" for PAPSA and CCA.
At Prism Career Institute, we appreciate our knowledgeable, caring and committed faculty. We know the difference they make by providing an engaging experience in the classroom and as role models for professional excellence and leadership.
