What Makes Prism Different?

Our reputation depends on your success. That’s the Prism difference.

Students who attend and graduate from Prism Career Institute are sought after in the marketplace. That’s because we help you develop the specialized knowledge and skills that make you a better candidate for the jobs that are in high demand in the medical field.

Our programs are 100% medical focused.

Many career training schools offer a range of programs in multiple fields. Because we focus exclusively on healthcare, we provide our students with the specialized knowledge, skills, and training that prepares our graduates for a strong, successful medical career.

We are committed to helping you become licensed.

The indications of a quality education are when graduates pass post-graduate examinations entitling them to receive state licenses. At Prism, you’ll participate in training that will prepare you for the NCLEX examination needed to work as a Licensed Practical Nurse. We take pride in you and you’ll take pride in your Prism experience when you’ve achieved your educational goals and set off on your new career path.

We’re affordable and we have a caring financial aid process.

Education is an investment in you. That means what you put into it will grow way beyond what you originally spent. We take pride in keeping our programs affordable while still offering a high-quality educational experience. We give you everything you need to be successful as quickly as possible so you can get on with your career.

We understand financial challenges and what it takes to get an education while still managing your daily life and family obligations. Our financial aid advisors will assist you through the financial aid process and will discuss the payment options available to best meet your budget.

We offer clinical training to Practical Nursing students.

Prism’s nursing students get clinical training that helps build confidence in the nursing field. Our Practical Nursing program consists of 720 hours of didactic, 120 hours of laboratory, plus 720 hours of clinical training which means more than half the program consists of applied learning.

We offer externships to medical assistant students who meet both the institution and externship sites’ eligibility requirements.

We have strong externship partnerships within the community that welcome Prism students and provide outstanding opportunities to learn and grow. Qualified students may work with doctors, nurses and other medical professionals to gain valuable training experience.

We help with job placement.

Our career advisors help guide you from program to profession. They’ll help you learn how to make a great first impression and be the best candidate you can be with solid interview skills and a résumé you can feel confident about. As a Prism graduate you’ll have access to our vast network of employers and industry professionals who are eager to help you advance your career in your field of choice.
